
Q: Social media is just smoke and mirrors. Are you a bunch of charlatans?
A: Social media management gets a bit of a bashing from inside and outside the tech world. Some of it is fair and some not. There was the initial guru/ninja contingent who were not up to scratch, but the market is much more savvy now. Outsourcing social media management is not for everyone and some believe it makes the messaging less authentic because a third party fulfils it. We think that’s a bit daft. You probably outsource your IT Support, book keeping, PR etc. So why not! On a practical note beware big promises and trust your gut.
Q: Do you create content?
A: No, but we can manage people who do on your behalf if you want? Have articles written, videos produced or get pictures taken.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Campaigns are normally between £1000 and £5000 per month depending on how much bang for your buck you need. We need to be more cost effective than hiring someone internally and add value via sales, reputation management, developing opinion leadership status etc. You tell us where the value is for you and pull the plug when you no longer feel the love.
Q: How do I know if the campaign is working?
A: We measure qualitatively and quantitatively using industry leading tools such as Radian6, Ubervu, Insights and more, measuring from the head and the heart over a trial period of 3 months. Is web traffic improving? Are you getting great feedback (That doesn’t always mean positive), do you feel value in how your brand is being positioned. If for whatever reason you’re not happy pull the campaign and don’t pay that month’s invoice. That’s our guarantee to you. We want you to WANT to give us money.
Q: You don’t know my industry. How will you know how to respond or manage my campaign?
A: We learn fast! 80% we can manage and handle. Some of the finer detail we may well kick back to you. We work with Chocolatiers, ethical flooring manufacturers, captains of industry as their VA. Big and small. The weird and wonderful.
